What are Imagery Basemaps?
Background layers curated by Airbus experts ensure highly accurate, color-consistent and nearly cloud-free coverage with minimized haze and seasonal differences between contiguous images.
Our Imagery Basemaps can be ordered globally and/or for a specific area, can include mosaic processing, are available off-the-shelf or on-demand with fully customized parameters to meet specific project needs.

- Global Basemap: off-the-shelf global imagery layer that includes 30cm over cities, 50cm over urban areas and specific large regions such as the U.S and Europe as well as 1.5m resolution imagery over the rest of Earth’s landmass
- Geolocation accuracy is ≤5m CE90 for the majority of the globe
- Minimal cloud cover: ≤5% globally and ≤2% over urban areas
- Tailored Basemaps to meet the specific needs of each project with customized parameters including mosaic processing
- Airbus is committed to meet customer needs for many years to come
